I have been working at HJF since 2025. In my job as an attorney at HJF, I am engaged with contracts, corporate law, takeovers, tenancy law and all kinds of various legal disputes. My career as an attorney started in 2020, when I assisted then (government) companies and organizations in the semi-public sector in the field of corporate and contract law and various sector related legislation.
After my first period as an attorney, I worked in the international business community. This gave me an inside experience of the commercial and operational interests that play a role for companies. This broad perspective helps me to advise entrepreneurs, not only purely legally, but also strategically and practically.
I come from an entrepreneurial family and know first-hand that entrepreneurs primarily need fast, clear and solution-oriented advice. What appeals to me about HJF is that the entire team speaks the language of the entrepreneur.
In addition to law, I also studied economics at Erasmus University in Rotterdam. This allows me to place legal issues in a broader business economics context. Clients appreciate that I can make complex legal matters understandable and also that I can discuss figures and business considerations with them.
I find it important to be socially involved in addition to my work as an attorney. For example, I was previously active as a municipal councilor. In this role, I saw up close the challenges that entrepreneurs encounter in (long-term) permit procedures and doing business with governments.
In my spare time I like to go out with my family and play a round of golf every now and then.
