My interest in law started when I was employed at a Rotterdam notary office. Because I wanted to know more about law in general, I started studying Dutch Law at the Erasmus University in addition to my job. In the meantime I had made the transition to the legal profession and was sworn in as an attorney at law in 2011. From a general practice I started to focus on contract law and labor law, and later on construction law. Construction law and the world of contracting attracted me so much that after 8 years I made the switch to a niche firm in the field of real estate and construction law. The knowledge and experience I gained there I now apply to HJF and its clients. I am also active again in labor law, an area of law that has always held my interest.
My Rotterdam mentality typifies me as an attorney at law. Together we ensure that a legal problem is solved, either through a legal procedure or not. I have extensive experience in procedural law at various authorities and courts of law, including the Arbitration Board for the building industry. In addition, I can be called in to draw up various contracts, including building contracts or employment contracts.
