Attorney at law

Since 2007 I have worked as an attorney at law. After having been active in my first years in a variety of practice areas, I have started to specialise myself in family law and in insolvency law.

In the field of family law I counsel both entrepreneurs and private persons, among other things with divorces, termination of domestic partnership and disputes on alimony and care arrangements. In addition to that, I also act as divorce mediator in the course of which I help entrepreneurs and private persons, who - by mutual agreement - want to arrange the consequences of their divorce.

In the field of insolvency law I advise, among others, entrepreneurs who ran into payment difficulties themselves or who deal with a (possible) bankruptcy of one of their debtors. Furthermore, I am regularly appointed as trustee in bankruptcies.

The profession of attorney at law and trustee is challenging. I like to think alongside our clients to reach (practical) solutions. If litigation needs to take place, I engage myself for the best legal assistance and the best results.

Since 2017 I have been active at HJF Advocaten where the work is performed in an enthusiastic team, striving towards optimal results for clients, and where extensive knowledge within the area of insolvency law is present.

I am member of the Association of Family Law Lawyers & Divorce Mediators (vFAS) and of the association of insolvency lawyers (Insolad).

Practice areas
